This
mysterious user (who has requested that his identity be obscured)
has come up with novel use for the grandMA console: keeping track
of a betting pool on a game show while running the lights! It works
like this, selecting a group, which is named after one of the people
in the pool, selects a channel which is also named. There are 3 dimmer
presets which give the bet values (1, 2 & 3) as to how that particular
contestant will do.
Once all the bets are placed they can then be
recorded as a cue which can then be named after the contestant. The
results as to how each member of the pool is doing can be looked at
by viewing the tracking sheet. Whom ever wins the pool can displayed
by selecting the winning pool members from the Groups pool, pressing
the "Winner" Dimmer preset and then the "Winners"
effect.
