The ICE FOG range of low fog generators produces a large volume of cool fog for the effects that require a low-lying fog. The high output can be sustained continuously, producing a constant volume of very dry and dense white low-lying fog. Both models use MDG Low Fog Fluid, a glycol-based fluid. All ICE FOG low fog generators come with a two-year warranty.

Adjusting of the flow of liquid CO2 coolant/propellant regulates the volume of fog produced. All ICE FOG units may be run at 100% duty continuously to maintain a constant amount of fog output. Each ICE FOG low fog generator is built into a self-contained rolling road case that can be closed while the unit is operating, which further reduces its already-quiet noise emission level.

The ICE FOG Compack is the newest product in the MDG range of low fog generators. Smaller than the ICE FOG Q, the ICE FOG Compack operates at 115VAC. The ICE FOG Compack also is available in two versions, for use either with high pressure liquid CO2 or with low pressure refrigerated CO2. The ICE FOG Compack uses liquid CO2, so it is important to use either a high pressure cylinder equipped with a siphon, or to connect to the liquid output of the low pressure Dewar cylinder.

All versions of the ICE FOG Compack include an onboard/remote controller and appropriate hoses. Other control options include a 2-channel DMX Interface and a Remote Control Timer. High-capacity CO2 cylinders are available from your local compressed gas distributor.

The ICE FOG Q is the premier product in the MDG range of low fog generators. The ICE FOG Q connects to a high-capacity refrigerated liquid CO2 Dewar cylinder and a single 208VAC circuit. The ICE FOG Q has three times the output capacity of its smaller sibling, but is still extremely quiet in operation.

The ICE FOG Q includes an onboard/remote controller, a 26' XLR5 extension cable for the remote, and an 8' long x 9" diameter Output Fog Hose, and a 10') Input low pressure Liquid CO2 Insulated Hose. Other control options include a 2-channel DMX Interface and a Remote Control Timer. Both of these control options connect in place of the standard Remote Control. High-capacity refrigerated low-pressure CO2 Dewar cylinders are available from your local compressed gas distributor.
