Enhance the "look" of your lighting the safe, economical way by using the standard of the industry for creating haze effects. Originally developed for the movie sets of Hollywood, the DF-50 produces a fine haze effect with a droplet size of 1 micron or less. It operates without any modification using either of two fully tested and approved fluid types: a traditional mineral oil-based fluid; or a new, water-soluble glycol-based fluid. The oil-based fluid is a food grade highly refined white mineral oil, which means that it's odorless, non-toxic, environmentally safe, and fully compliant with US Food & Drug Administration regulations. Furthermore, a recent report commissioned by Actors' Equity Association & the League of American Theatres and Producers, and prepared by the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and the ENVIRON Int. Corp., established exposure guidelines for Actors Equity productions. The results of the test show that no other machine outperforms the DF-50 in meeting health and safety guidelines. The DF-50 is patented, lightweight, compact, runs without any warm up and is tested and approved by the State of California Occupational Safety and Health Act Regulations Department, as well as Actors Equity and other professional organizations.
