Linebacker

The multipurpose Linebacker is arguably the most comprehensive DMX tool available in the the stage lighting market, ingeniously housing 4 separate functions in one elegant box.

Linebacker is :
>>> 60 Memory DMX backup device

>>> DMX signal and cable test tool

>>> A stand-alone compact lighting desk
>>> A programmable scene/effect sequencer

Up to 60 memories of 512 DMX channels may be grabbed from DMX and stored, edited or copied with individual cross fade times. In the event of a DMX loss, Linebacker warns the operator and holds the last DMX signal transmitted.
The operator can take control of the show using the 'GO' button on the Linebacker, stepping through the 60 backup memories. Linebacker can be programmed, edited and run as a stand-alone lighting desk, as such it finds applications in many environments where a full-sized memory lighting desk is impractical or too expensive. Sequences of memories can be run from the Linebacker with crossfade and dwell times. Manual override of time gives more flexibility. These features make automated lighting such as in an exhibition environment possible. Linebacker can diagnose the majority of DMX problems, allowing a technician to test the presence and quality of a DMX signal, modify and regenerate poor DMX signals and test for multiple cable faults.

Level Series
Level Plus Series - Zero 88's range of advanced manual lighting control desks for the smaller stage, are ideal for use in schools, small halls and drama studios. Designed for amateurs and professionals alike, this very affordable range of desks offers the perfect solution to uncomplicated lighting plots. The ultra slim stylish design with integral carrying handle is available in 12, 18 and 24 channel formats. The channel faders are set in a conventional two preset layout with opposing master faders for easy crossfading. Each preset has its own fade time control allowing really smooth fades to be achieved over periods as long as 5 minutes. All crossfades are true dipless. Dipless crossfading means that a channel which is set at the same level on both presets will not change when crossfading from one preset to the other. True dipless crossfading means the level will not change even if the fade in time and fade out time are not the same.

This ability to hold lighting levels constant through varying fade in and out times allows really sophisticated lighting plots to be achieved quite simply. Level plus desks, with their microprocessor controlled crossfading, are the only desks in their class that will do this.All the desks in the Level Plus series have channel flash buttons enabling them to create lively lighting effects at parties, discos and when lighting small bands. The flash buttons can be disabled by the flash on/off switch to prevent accidental use.

The Level Plus series is available with 10 Volt analog or DMX512 outputs. analog versions are normally powered by the supply from the dimmer packs. However, they also have a connector for an optional external power supply should the dimmer supply be unsuitable. The DMX versions include the power supply as standard. Analog versions may be fitted with an optional DMX output kit where maximum flexibility is required.
